What is Servo System?
The servo system mainly consists of a driver, a motor, and a feedback device. Its working principle is rooted in servo system theory: the controller sends a command, the driver amplifies and converts the control signal to drive the motor. Meanwhile, the feedback device provides real-time feedback, and the driver adjusts the motor’s operation according to the deviation, thus achieving high-precision closed-loop control.
The performance characteristics of the servo motor, the core actuator of the servo system, are particularly critical. In the field of industrial automation, servo motors are often used as alternative power drive solutions along with stepper motors.

The servo system works via closed – loop control.
The input command signal sets the target for the output shaft. The motor drives the shaft through the gear system. The potentiometer senses the shaft’s actual position, sending feedback. The amplifier compares the command and feedback, generating an error signal to adjust the motor, ensuring the shaft reaches the desired position.
