Laser Welding Function

Select appropriate laser power, speed, focal length and other parameters according to material type and thickness.

Follow the following principles when welding:

  • The thicker the plate, the thicker the welding wire, the greater the power, and the slower the wire feeding speed
  • The lower the power, the whiter the welding surface, and the greater the power, the weld changes from color to black, and at this time, one-sided formation
  • The thickness of the welding wire should not be greater than the plate thickness, and the welding wire affects the fullness of the weld
  • The thinner the welding wire, the lower the scanning width

Laser Cutting Function

  • Turn off the power of the equipment and use professional tools to replace the cutting copper nozzle.
  • The gas selection is mainly N₂. Ar is not recommended, which will affect the cutting effect.
  • Unlike welding, the cutting spot has no width. Therefore, the scanning width must be set to 0, that is, the red light is a point.
  • Perform a red dot test before cutting to ensure that the red light comes completely from the center of the copper nozzle, otherwise the copper nozzle may be burned.
  • Cutting thickness: preferably less than 3 mm.Keep moving at a constant speed during cutting.

Laser Cleaning Function

  • Switch cleaning program: Use the switch button in the upper right corner of the operation page to switch the cleaning program, power off and restart.
  • Replace the appropriate focusing lens: lenses with different focal lengths have different cleaning ranges.
  • Use a special tool to remove the locking part in front of the gun head.
  • Set parameters according to the material to be cleaned (rust, oil, etc.).

Note: The cleaning function has a maximum range of 80 mm. For larger ranges, we recommend using a professional laser cleaning machine

 

Laser Weld Cleaning Function

  • Preparation: Wear PPE, ventilate the workspace, and inspect connections on the laser system, cooling unit, and welding head.
  • Setup: Power on the machine, configure laser parameters, attach the welding head, and adjust the focal distance to align with the weld seam.
  • Test Cleaning: Perform a small test clean on the workpiece edge to confirm effectiveness and thermal control.
  • Cleaning Process: Hold the head 10–20 mm from the workpiece, then move it steadily along the weld seam to remove oxides and slag.
  • Post-Cleaning: Shut down the system, clean the welding head’s optical components, and inspect the workpiece for cleaning quality.
